Upcoming gas line project in several roads
First things first. I would like to thank each and every one of you with a great big THANK-YOU for your support in the Public Works. We are moving forward slowly but surely in improving the roads in our Town of Randolph. I also would like you to know what Public Works has coming in the very near future.
Summit Gas is going to start installing an 8-inch Plastic Pipe line through some of our roads. The plan as of now is that they are going to start around the first of October and run for the whole month of October.
See map below. They will be digging on the following streets; they will be starting at the intersection of Water St. and Central St. going as far as Pleasant St. making the turn to go down on Pleasant St. to Windsor St. Crossing Windsor St. running down to South Maple St. Making the turn onto So. Maple St. and running to Elm St. Making the turn and running down to Water St. and ending at their facility on Water St.
When the line is in service, if you may be thinking of converting to Natural Gas you will have to contact Summit Gas for further information. If you should have any questions or concerns about what is going on please feel free to reach out to Public Works and we can work on solving the problems or concerns.
