The Town's new Comprehensive Plan was adopted at a Special Town Meeting on May 28, 2014.

The 1996 Plan was outdated and the state requires all towns to have an updated Plan which lays out the vision of the future and allows the town to be eligible for certain state grants and services.

Using funds approved by residents at the 2011 and 2012 Annual Town Meetings, the town hired Chris Huck from KVCOG to guide the Committee through the various phases of Plan development.  The Committee started meeting twice a month in 2012 and those meetings ran into Spring 2013. The draft Plan was submitted to the State in 2013 to ensure that it was compliant with state law and approval has since been received by the town.

A public hearing was held on March 27, 2014 for Randolph citizens to comment.  A copy can be found below (PDF) or some limited "hard copies" are at the Town Office.

The Committee was made up of Pete Coughlan, Bob Henderson, Paul Hallee, Charlie Brown, Gloria Mansir-Fitzherbert, and Dave Gilman along with Mr. Huck.
