November 8, 2011 -- 4 referenda

The ballot counters finished counting the 535 ballots at 9:30 PM.  This was a 43.7% voter turnout.

REFERENDA
#1 -- reject the new law that requires new voters to register to vote at least two business days prior to an election..."
 YES -- 308 (58%)             NO -- 223 (42%) 

#2 -- "allow a slot machine facility at a harness racing track in Biddeford or another community within 25 miles of Scarborough Downs, and at a harness racing track in Washington County,..."
YES -- 296 (55%)             NO -- 238 (45%)  

#3 -- "allow a casino in Lewiston..."
 YES -- 234 (44%)             NO -- 300 (56%) 

#4 -- " amending the Constitution of Maine to change the years of redistricting the Maine Legislature, congressional districts and county commissioner districts after 2013 ....to 2021 and every 10th year thereafter?
YES --  284 (55%)             NO --  236 (45%)
